ROCKY HILL, Feb. 12, 2019 — Titan Energy New England Inc., a leading brokerage company servicing commercial, industrial, non-profit and municipal markets, today announced that it has won a multi-year energy procurement services contract with the Connecticut Conference of Municipalities (CCM). This contract was competitively sourced, and Titan was selected based on its experience, expertise and its strong reputation.
“We are excited to join CCM in delivering cost-effective energy purchasing services to Connecticut’s towns and cities,” said Chris Ramm, Titan’s General Manager. “Our experience working closely with municipalities of all sizes over a long period of time has allowed Titan to understand very clearly the important components of the energy commodity procurement process as well as the need for an overall energy strategy. Our consultative approach in working with our clients has proven to deliver real value and has resulted in long term and very effective relationships.”
After issuing an RFP for a new energy consultant, CCM’s selection committee, consisting of municipal staff from among its membership, unanimously chose Titan Energy as its new CCM Energy Purchasing Program energy procurement consultant.
“CCM is pleased that by selecting Titan Energy New England, our members are assured of continuing to receive the same essential services that have become the hallmark of the CCM Energy Purchasing Program,” said Joe DeLong, CCM’s Executive Director. “CCM Energy and Titan Energy New England are immediately available to manage competitive electric and natural gas procurements for all our member municipalities, their school districts (including all regional school districts) and local public agencies.”
